-----------------------MINUTES ---------------------------
Mike LaBonte conducted the meeting.

Call for opens and IBIS related patent disclosures:

- Tony Penaloza introduction
  - Worked with Mike and Stephen Scearce
  - Worked on IBIS library integration
  - Working with IBIS since 2003

- Mike: Maybe these meetings should be startable 15 minutes before instead of 5

- James: Got feedback from Greg and Todd
  - Made changes to presentation
  - Some steps in new flow were misunderstood
  - Will send to reflector

AR Review:

- Mike send AMI checklist document with comments to group
  - Done
  - Google Docs didn't work for all, so an attachment was emailed

- Mike add QUAILs to Mantis
  - Both QUAILs have been added to a test installation of Mantis
  - http://civiczone.net/mantisbt

- Bob conduct tests of parser behavior for test keywords
  - TBD

New items:

Mike showed Mantis
- Need to change priority and severity lists
- Bob: Can the bug numbers be QUAIL numbers?
- Mike: It would be difficult to keep those in sync
  - A new field can be added

Greg: Used a PHY model to experiment with jitter
- Bob: Is this for ATM or Quality?
- Greg: Quality
  - A user might accidentally get more jitter than expected
  - A double counting issue
- Mike: If the spec is clear it becomes a quality issue
  - Not sure this is clear, given ATM discussion
- Greg: This could be discussed with ATM too
- Bob: The existing parameters are not clear
  - We need reference models
  - Similar issues on the editorial committee
- James: Agree with Greg
  - ATM discussion is focused on how tools process jitter
  - Users need to know the meaning of each jitter type
  - We expect to model what the silicon actually does
  - ATM providing a way for users to stretch the model (what if)
- Bob: It would be good to present this to ATM

Mike showed Greg's AMI checklist:
- Mike: Did anyone not receive it?
  - James would like a copy
- Greg gave an overview of the purpose
- James: Would this be in the IBIS spec?
- Greg: The Accuracy Handbook for example is separate
- Mike: We could reformat this to fit in the IQ spec

AR: Mike add descriptions to AMI checklist

Bob: We can go over the jitter document sent by Greg

Next meetings:
- Next meetings Sep 06 and Sep 13

Sep 06 agenda:
- AMI quality

Meeting ended at 12:20 Eastern Time.
